Opening act for Phantoms Band
 

In January 2020, Peace and Pieric got together for their first jam session. Armed with a handful of song ideas, they quickly crafted a series of straight-ahead thrash metal tracks, which were recorded at QuickRecStudio in Ringgenberg.

Shortly afterwards, A.D. (formerly of Mad Sox, currently with Önkl Rön) joined the band as vocalist. He wrote the lyrics and recorded vocals for the first three songs just a few days later.

The search for a solid rhythm section naturally led to a small Killflex reunion: Jeff took over on bass, followed by Gene (formerly of Killflex and Blackwall), who completed the lineup as drummer.

Throughout the COVID-19 winter and spring of 2020, the band continued writing new material. At the end of May, Stone Hail finally rehearsed together as a full band for the first time at QuickRecStudio, already armed with a 43-minute setlist. The session was recorded and released online, laying the foundation for the band's first live show invitations.

After a 20-year break, the legendary band is back with a brand-new album and the same electrifying energy. We couldn't be more excited to welcome them.

During the 1990s, Phantoms made their mark with more than 800 live shows, nine albums, a spectacular stage production, and tours alongside iconic acts such as Iggy Pop, the Stranglers, the Sisters of Mercy, the Sex Pistols, Cypress Hill, and The Prodigy. Their hit "SUN" reached the Top 3 of the German DAC charts and became one of the most-played songs on alternative and rock dance floors across Europe.

After more than two decades away from the stage and following various musical projects, Sir Hannes revived Phantoms for a new era. With the long-awaited music video for "SUN," the new single "Stocking Girl," and a refreshed lineup, the band is embarking on an exciting new chapter.

Armed with a brand-new album and their classic songs, Phantoms are looking forward to returning to the stage, reconnecting with fans, and creating unforgettable live moments once again.
